Pause

It was a day when I wanted to finish the run before I'd even started! Trying to get the run 'over and done with!' as quickly as possible. I decided just to pause a moment. Stop racing, stop wanting to get home. I had nothing to rush home for; not like I was going anywhere! Just enjoy this beautiful sunny morning and appreciate my feet on the ground, the sun on my little bit of face that was poking out! I paused and stopped for a moment, then I found carrying on was easier; it was enjoyable and I noticed things I hadn't noticed before. The branches, the sun shining through the trees, the colours, that Rocky was loving it! Pause just for a moment, it makes you appreciate things.
