First Injury

191 miles and I've picked up an injury in my calf. Very painful and I'm gutted. Going to rest for a couple of days and see if it will ease. I was doing so well; I'm motivated, fit and loving the challenge. Guess this is usual when training hard. I've ran on it, whilst throbbing, for a couple of days, knowing I need to rest but reluctant to stop. Knowing when to rest is important, frustrating as it is. Keeping my spirits up by reminding myself I'll be back on it soon; firmly telling myself to enjoy the rest, eat good food, have a drink, have a laugh with my lovely family and it'll be healed soon. This photo reminds me to keep going, don't give up just because of one set back.
